Why might the study of children's literature be more complex than you imagine?

Children's literature is utterly imaginative but represents ideas in a very simple way. It is not entirely bounded by adults’ rules of thinking, it toys with them, and perhaps, that is why it is more complex.
In the novel Phantom Tollbooth, Milo says: “[t]he least they could have done was to send a highway with it, for it's terribly impractical without one.”

If Milo complains that the tollbooth is “impractical” without a highway, it is just to involve our logic into the story, otherwise, he doesn’t need a highway as he drives in his imagination. Does our inability to think like children, make children's literature more complex?

WRITING

Writing is important. There was no recorded history if the human was not able to write. In the EFS class, we are all assigned to write at least a passage every week. Each student needs to make a personal journal for him/herself.

I also want to start writing, but I don't know what I should write about. I think this is the main part of writing to choose your main thematic area of writing. Anyway, I'll start writing about myself. If we are going to writ it would be much better to start from ourselves.

Everybody has a tremendous story but only a few people can reveal their stories. In fact, it is not easy to write particularly when you write about yourself. You need to go underneath of your practical life and try to find out what exactly your daily activity means. It means you ought to be honest, which is not easy.

STONEHENGE

A New Small Step Forward

English for Further Studies

After I finished level five I took part in another English examination and I passed and successfully accepted for the course of English for Further Studies (EFS) Class. This is a preliminary period for another level which is English for Academic Purposes (EAP). I will do the EAP right after the EFS.

Now I am doing this class. I am studying English in these four thematic areas of a language: Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening.

Today I have the reading class which also includes E-Learning or internet based studies. In order to do this class, I needed to create a blog. The main goal of creating this blog is only for English learning purposes.

From now on I will work on this blog and feature short pieces of writings on it.

Thanks for reading and I will appreciate anyone who amends my writings.
